Luke Glanton, one of the key players in the Chicago Organization was sidelined for 12 Games due to a lower body injury.
Playing in his first game since June 17th coach Bush tested Glanton to see if he was ready to get back in the lineup.
Playing almost 20 minutes in his return to the lineup Glanton also saw 4 minutes and 16 second of powerplay time.
Recording 2 shots on goal and an assist surprised coach bush and GM Paré, Gm Paré had this to say:
"Glanton is a key part in our lineup. His offensive talent was missed when he went down we had a little slump trying
to fix the hole. We ended up making a couple deals that patched the hole, now with Glanton back we have more offensive strength
and depth in our roster. We've been on a roll lately, Lets hope that in continues with him in the lineup".
the media also questioned Glanton after the game and he had a couple words to say:
"Happy to be back, missed the guys in the locker room and on the road. It's a total different feel having to watch your team play
while you're sitting in a press box not able to make any effect on the game. Glad i caught up to speed quickly and got a point in my
first night back, lets hope that the boys and I continue this streak cause I think we have a good contending team and have a good
shot for the playoffs".
press conference was also held with Captain Tommy Riordan after the game and had this to say about returning teammate:
"Lukie is a great guy with amazing talent. Happy to see him doing well and back in the lineup. The boys missed seeing his face in the
room and his number on the score sheet".
