<Montreal Press Conference, 18:00pm, Montreal,Canada>
"Ladies and Gentleman a shake up was due in Montreal. We have too much talent to be in bottom half of the league. For weeks I was looking at different options for this organization. I looked at moving my stars for high prospects and picks but It wasn't in the cards. At times it looked like GMs weren't ready to wheel and deal and pay a high price for the likes of Wall, Green, or Tsylov. It was either a long package of rebuilds of possibilities or a hybrid package of players in which all that we were doing is negate each other. Creating a hole in one place or another for the sake of a trade. With Detroit today, we have paid a huge sacrifice of our future for today's gain. We are sad to see the likes of Coarse Linguist, future prospects of Carter Hayes, Ian McGuiness and Adrian Fiore leave the organization. I know someday they will be a big part of Detroit's success. In return we get the much needed scoring talents of King Sawyer, Heath Nicholson and the best shot blocker Roman Pierce. I have also included this up-incoming 1st and 2nd round pick. As I said before, the future is now for Les Canadiens. Is it the end of the trades involving the Red, White & Blue? Anytime a good opportunity presents itself, I will explore it. With the Leafs and Rangers getting involved in the trade market, we can't just sit and look at the time go by."
